District -> Board Meeting
|
The Board of Trustees consists of 21 members, one from each city and one representative for the County at-large. Trustees are appointed by their respective City Council to govern the Mosquito and Vector Control District knowledgeably and effectively. They serve for a term of two or four years and are highly dedicated to this community service. Trustees receive a stipend of $100 dollars for each meeting attended in lieu of expenses. The regular board meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month, beginning at 7:00pm at the District Office, 1351 Rollins Rd, Burlingame. No meetings are held in August and December.
The meetings are open to the public. Agendas are posted one week prior to a board meeting. Minutes for each board meeting are posted monthly, once approved. Individuals who need special assistance or a disability-related modification or accommodation (including auxiliary aids or services) to participate in this meeting, should contact the Board Clerk at least five working days before the meeting at (650) 344-8592.
